Standing out with its contribution to education and healthcare fields in İzmir, Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation distinguishes also with its social activities. Within this framework, the foundation signed a protocol with İzmir office of mufti and contributed to the Holy Birth Week, by Quran, mevlit and lokma dessert services for the sake of our martyrs in 4 mosques of İzmir.
Last week, Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation signed a donation protocol of 2.5 million liras with a ceremony to which İzmir Governor Mustafa Toprak also attended, in order to complete the Gene Research Center which is going to be established within Dokuz Eylül University Medical Faculty. The foundation now signed a protocol with İzmir provincial office of mufti. Within the framework of the protocol signed with a ceremony where Vice Chairman of the Board Erol Urgun, General Coordinator Berna Şahin and Provincial Mufti Prof. Dr. Ramazan Muslu attended, Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation were among sponsors of the Holy Birth Week events.

Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation remembered our martyrs in the Holy Birth Week. The foundation collaborated with İzmir office of mufti and organized Quran and mevlit reading before salaah for our martyrs and the founders of the foundation, Nevvar and Salih İşgören from the four biggest mosques of the city, Konak Hisar Mosque, Karşıyaka Kemalpaşa Mosque, Buca Yıkıkkemer Mosque and Bornova Merkez Hüseyin İsabey Mosque. After the salaah, lokma dessert was served. The books contributed by Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation were distributed in the four mosques. İzmir Provincial Mufti Prof. Dr. Ramazan Muslu and Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation administrators attended the program in Hisar Mosque. Vice Chairman of the Board Erol Urgun stated that we needed unity and solidarity and “As Nevvar Salih İşgören Foundation, we remember our martyrs with mercy and gratitude.”
